Jennifer Lopez To Perform At World Cup Opening

Just days after it was reported she had pulled out of performing at the World Cup’s opening ceremony, Jennifer Lopez has confirmed she will be there.

“I’m coming. I leave tonight. We always were going. I think people get anxious, especially with me and my schedule when I’m like, ‘Ah, OK, I can leave this day, that day, I don’t know if we can make it,” she sated.

FIFA officials announced earlier this week that the singer would not perform the official tune ‘We Are One’ (Ole Ola) alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte.

They cited “production issues” as the cause of her withdrawal.

But Lopez said they will perform before Brazil takes on Croatia at Thursday’s opening game in Sao Paulo.

“People get nervous and I think it was a little bit premature to announce anything. But we are definitely going,” she said.

The singer said the song was put together by Pitbull, who featured her on the song.

She has previously collaborated with the rapper on the hit songs ‘On The Floor’ and ‘Dance Again’.

Lopez said: “I’m so lucky that he gave me the opportunity.”

Luckie Lawson Hits Town With Baby Girl

‘Silence Is Golden’ actress Luckie Lawson is back in town, eight months after she delivered a bouncing baby in the United States of America.

The baby, Eliana, was born in a hospital in the US on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.

Luckie quietly sneaked into town with the baby about two weeks ago, according to sources close to her family.

Luckie got married to Michael Gyan in September 2009 after their first baby Jayden.

In 2011, two years after their marriage, they almost went their separate ways. But with time and the intervention of their families and friends, normalcy was restored.

Now, they are a happy family with a new member, who Luckie is parading in town.

Eliana shares the same birthday with popular Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson and the same month with two other hot actresses – Nadia Buari and Yvonne Okoro – who celebrate their birthdays on November 21 and 25 respectively.

It is unclear what Luckie is up to in terms of movies.

But months ago, Luckie made it clear she does not expect her daughter to become an actress in future.

Though it will be her daughter’s choice, Luckie is doubtful whether Eliana will follow her footsteps.

“She’s got to be more than me; president or something,” she said.

Kanye West Drops Jay Z's Name From Lyrics After Wedding Snub

Kris Jenner claims that nobody was bothered about Beyonce and Jay Z snubbing Kimye's wedding last month, but it seems Kanye West may still be holding a grudge, as it is claimed the rapper left out Jay Z's name from his lyrics while performing at the X Games last weekend.

The 'New Slaves' rapper headlined the event held in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, where he performed his biggest hits and it's reported that he used the set as an opportunity to hint that he's feuding with his BFF Jay Z, with speculation that it's over the rapper failing to attend Kanye's wedding to Kim Kardashian last month.

According to Consequence of Sound, Kanye usually raps on 'Cold': “Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team,” but during the X Games performance, he reportedly omitted Jay Z's name out completely leaving the beat to continue.

He is also said to have done the same on the line in 'Blood On The Leaves': “I don't give a damn if you used to talk to Jay Z.”

Perhaps to reiterate that he didn't just forget the lyrics, Kanye is said to have changed the next line on the same track from: “He ain’t with you, he with BeyoncĂ©, you need to stop actin’ lazy,” to simply: “You need to stop actin' crazy,” alluding that he may also be angry with Beyonce for missing the nuptials.

As if that wasn't enough, Kanye reportedly skipped Jay Z's name on the track 'Touch The Sky.'

Addressing the fact that Beyonce and Jay Z chose not to fly to Italy to watch Kimye wed last month, Kanye's mother-in-law claimed nobody was bothered that the music power couple weren't in attendance.

“If you had been there you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone’s mind,” Kris Jenner told Australia's KIIS 106.5 FM.

“There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought."
